“The fish seen in this picture are mainly codling and whiting. The catch is sorted into its various grades with any fish below the legally allowed minimum size being thrown back into the sea. Here the ‘Condowan’ is being followed by scavenging seagulls, quick to take advantage of any discarded fish.”
